About this campaign
My name is Bilal. I am a father, a shopkeeper, and a survivor from Khan Younis in Gaza. I once lived a simple, happy life with my wife and three children—Yahya, Yusuf, and Ameera. Our home was full of love, and my clothing shop was thriving. Life felt secure, and my children’s laughter filled every corner.
At the end of 2023, everything changed. My wife was killed. Soon after, our home was destroyed, along with the memories it carried. Then my clothing shop—the source of our livelihood—was reduced to rubble. In a short time, everything I had built was gone.
Since then, we have been displaced again and again—from Khan Younis to Rafah, Al-Mawasi, schools turned into shelters, and back to tents in Khan Younis. Today, we live in a tent with little more than the will to survive. Every day I search for food and water for my children, and every day I continue for their sake.
My children deserve a future beyond this suffering. When conditions allow and borders open, I hope to take them somewhere safe. Your support can help with food, medicine, shelter, and the chance to protect Yahya, Yusuf, and Ameera while we hold on to hope.
Yahya, Yusuf, and Ameera deserve a future beyond tents, hunger, and fear. Your support can help us survive today and keep alive the hope of safety tomorrow.
