But everything changed. At the end of 2023, my wife was killed. Soon after, our home was destroyed—along with every memory it carried. Then my shop, the source of our livelihood, was reduced to rubble. In just moments, all I had built was gone.

Since then, we have been displaced again and again—Khan Younis, Rafah, Al-Mawasi, schools turned into shelters, and back to tents in Khan Younis. Today, we live in a tent with nothing but the will to survive.

Every day, I risk my life searching for food and water for my children. I’ve faced death so many times that I’ve lost count. Our lives are no longer about living—they are about surviving, one day at a time.

Yet, I continue for the sake of my children. They deserve a future beyond this suffering.
