About this campaign
My name is Jumana. I am 21 years old. Not long ago, I had a home filled with laughter, a university I was proud to attend, and dreams that gave my future a clear direction. I used to wake up every morning with purpose—to study, grow and build something meaningful with my life. Today, everything has changed.
We lost our house, the place where every wall held our memories. My father lost his job, and with it our family’s only source of stability. I also lost access to my university education, the path I believed would secure my future and help us build a better life.
Each day is now a test of strength. I watch my parents struggle to stay hopeful while the weight of our situation grows heavier. My father searches for any kind of work to keep us going. My mother tries to keep our spirits up, reminding me that faith and hope can survive even the hardest storms.
Sometimes I remember the person I used to be—a student, a dreamer, someone with plans and ambitions. Now, I am trying to survive and help my family hold on. It is not easy for me to ask for help, but life has left us with almost nothing. Every contribution is more than material support; it is a spark of hope and a chance for us to begin again.
