About this campaign
My name is Rooa Alashkar. I am one of nine family members struggling to survive in Gaza. Before the war, we had simple dreams—education, safety, and the hope of a better life. But now, everything has changed.
Our home is gone. We live without walls, without power, and with little food. Each day is a fight against hunger, cold, and fear. The war has stripped us of stability, comfort, and our basic human rights.
We are nine souls trying to hold on. Children who once played and studied now wake up to explosions and go to sleep hungry. There are no schools, no clinics, and no safe places—only tents, rubble, and the will to survive.
Food prices are beyond reach. Clean water is nearly impossible to find. Illnesses are spreading, and medicine is scarce. Every day, we face impossible choices—who eats, who drinks, and who waits another day in pain.
